Project summary:
Birzeit University has received a Grant from the Quality Improvement
Fund (QIF) – Ministry of Education and Higher Education and funded by
the World Bank for the project entitled:

The Grant aims at developing the Bachelor
program in Science Education in Birzeit University, Al Quds University
and Anajah University. Birzeit University announces the need to appoint a
highly qualified consultant/s as follows:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Birzeit University is considering the selection of a highly qualified
consultant/s to enrich eight courses in Science Education (Philosophical
and Social Foundations of Education, Educational Psychology,
Educational Technology, Ethics of the Teaching Profession, Curriculum
and Teaching, Teaching in Heterogeneous Classes, Teaching Science (1),
Teaching Science (2) ) for the Pre-service Science Teacher Education
Project of the Upper Basic Level.

Required Qualifications:
-PhD or Master Degree from an accredited university in Education, Science Education or any other related field.
-Two years professional experience in teacher training, teacher education.
-Good experience in designing e- courses.
-Good knowledge in Teacher Education Strategy in Palestine.
-Excellent communication and networking skills.
-Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English and Arabic.

Time Frame:
The duration of the assignment is six months From the date of signing contract.
