law, and presents its findings to the member countries and to the
Palestinian and Israeli authorities.


Part Time/COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT
The Temporary International Presence in the West Bank city of Hebron
(TIPH) is an international civilian observer mission. The TIPH assists
the parties in the normalisation of the situation in the city and
reports on their efforts and the breaches of the agreements on Hebron
and international law. TIPH reports to the Palestinian and Israeli
authorities and to the six member countries.

The (TIPH) is looking for a part time employee to assist in maintaining
and developing the technical infrastructure of TIPH, including:
Assist the IT & Communications section in maintaining the office, including technical and administrative tasks.
Assist in maintaining and developing IT systems, including client’s servers and printers.
Conduct research among, and develop relationships with, suppliers to TIPH.
Assist to fetch and deliver bills and supplies within Hebron.
Coordinate and supervise contractors working inside the TIPH Base
Function as coordinator and representative for the IT & Communications office

Qualifications:
University degree in Information Technology or similar
Highly experienced in implementing and maintaining a Windows Server
architecture including Active directory, Exchange and client
maintenance.
High technical competency level in communications equipment, ranging from VHF radios to satellite equipment.
Excellent English skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Hebrew is a plus.
Personal qualifications: Outgoing, service-minded and ability to work
under pressure, and still act with calm and resolve. The candidate must
show initiative in performing task and have a high level of personal
integrity.

Experience:
Familiar with a wide range of hardware, especially HP products: servers, laptops, printers and networking equipment.
Experience in support tasks towards users. Interfacing between the user and the technical equipment.
Experience in managing suppliers and contractors
